New Dolls for a New Generation

Every generation has their own style, language and even their own title. For example, everyone knows the generation born between 1946 and the early 1960s are the Baby Boomers, while those born between the early 1980s and the early 2000s are known as Millennials or Generation Y. Both of these generations have their own characteristics and reasons why they do the things they do. This is no different in the world of doll collections.

Many Baby Boomers who collect dolls today are more likely to collect the dolls that they are nostalgic for or that remind them of their childhood. Millennials were raised in an era of big, showy fashions, and as a result, popular and contemporary fashions have developed as a focus area for many of the most popular dolls with the latest generation. Both groups, though, have found plenty to love with Integrity Toys.

Fashion Royalty DollIntegrity Toys’ dolls are catering to those who are looking for the high-end fashion trends in dolls and especially attention to detail. Integrity Toys has teamed up with amazing fashion designers to create dolls and clothing that are highly desirable and fashion forward. For example, designer Jason Wu started with Integrity Toys when he was just 16 years old. His dolls were sold under the line “Jason Wu dolls,” which further evolved into a much bigger line of “Fashion Royalty” dolls, which features sophisticated contemporary styles and aristocratic elegance. This line also paved the way for other Integrity Toys collections such as “Poppy Parker,” a series of 1960s glamour dolls boasting styles inspired by the era, and the “Dynamite Girls” collections, which feature a cast of dolls dressed in situational styles, like Brooklyn street fashions – not unlike what you might see in Wicker Park – and music festival gear.

Wu is also quite well known today for more than his dolls. He gained a great deal of notoriety for his skills as a clothing designer in recent years, with some of his most notable dresses and styles being highlighted in the wardrobe of Michelle Obama. Yes, the same man who created many of the First Lady’s formal looks started out designing dolls. With the same attention he gives to his doll styles, no detail is too small for his eye in the world of fashion.

Integrity Toys’ dolls have pushed the limits of doll collecting and have provided the fashion every girl wishes she had in her closet in miniature form for her doll collection. These highly collectible dolls are sought after by all generations due to their appeal. They have the fashion the appeals to Millennials, along with the history and sophistication Baby Boomers love.
